Time changing

The clocks changed last night. It's always a time of misunderstanding in our house ... my fault because I jump about changing random clocks on Saturday evening so that I don't forget! Then Kevin doesn't know if I've changed clocks or not and we all end up at sixes and sevens!

This year we surpassed ourselves ... Kevin changed some clocks as well and that really threw me! I ended up having to phone the speaking clock (argh, what a horrible voice it is now!).

Anyway, Connor & I stayed home from church this morning. We're having another attempt at persuading Connor that nappies are for babies ... he's reluctant! It was lovely having some time alone with him though ... he's the member of the family I think has been most affected by Euan's arrival ... he gets no time alone with me anymore and I really miss it! We played chase and read books and just enjoyed time together! No advance with the potty-training but at least he's not as upset about it all now!

Kevin's Dad & Step-Mum came for lunch today. It was lovely to spend time with them. Sam was very concerned that Auntie Anne had hurt her leg and was on crutches (or stilts as he called them). Earlier in the week he'd asked if we could pray for Auntie Anne's leg - I'm not sure if he was a bit surprised that her leg was still sore!

Euan's been quite unsettled lately ... I'm not sure if he's got a sore tummy ... it's hard at this age when they can't tell us what's wrong. Poor wee lad is crying a lot and crying real tears! When he's happy he's got a lovely huge smile but when he's unhappy he looks a really sad wee soul!

Must get a family photo sometime ... maybe that can be the aim for this week.
